The ZT620, successor to the large Xi4 models
The ZT620 is a 6-inch industrial printer with a 168 mm print width that prints at up to 305 mm per second (12 ips) at 203 dpi. Zebra designated the ZT620 as the successor to three models: the 140Xi4, 170Xi4, and 220Xi4.
Sales of the 140Xi4 and 170Xi4 ended on April 2, 2018 (December 31, 2019 in Asia-Pacific), and support ended on May 2, 2023 (March 31, 2025 in Asia-Pacific). The 220Xi4 had its last sale on February 27, 2026, and service and support continue until February 27, 2031.

Media cut by the cutter has an upper thickness limit of 0.18 mm, so it must be thinner than on the 4-inch ZT610 (0.23 mm). For lines that cut tag stock thicker than 0.18 mm, measure the media thickness before configuring the cutter.

Print width and 203 dpi speed are the same; the differences are in memory, Ethernet speed, and weight. The ZT620 is 8 kg heavier and 6.5 mm wider, so check the workbench load capacity and space first. Rolls wider than 178 mm (up to 180 mm) fit only the ZT620.
Power and space to check before installation
The unit measures W 341.5 x D 505 x H 395.7 mm. Power is 100-240 V, and at 120 V it uses 128 W while printing, 8.2 W on standby, and 3.1 W in sleep.
USB 2.0, RS-232 serial, Gigabit Ethernet, and Bluetooth are standard. The 2 empty slots take 802.11ax Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3, parallel, additional Ethernet, and applicator cards, and UHF RFID can also be added in the field to the 6-inch model.
