The DS4A is an Android mobile computer with a 4-inch WVGA (480 x 800) capacitive touchscreen above a 28-key alphanumeric keypad and left and right scan keys, and it supports hot swap to change the battery without rebooting. It is the Android model in the DS4 series; the 3.5-inch model running Windows is the DS4.

The sealing rating is listed as both IP65 and IP67, so match conditions of use to the lower, IP65. Android also has two listings, 7.1 and 9.0, so check the version on your DS4A device and then confirm business app compatibility.
2.0 GHz octa-core and LTE configuration
The DS4A uses a Qualcomm Cortex-A53 2.0 GHz 64-bit octa-core with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage, and has one microSD slot and one SIM slot. LTE bands are FDD 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20 and TDD 38, 39, 40, 41; Wi-Fi is 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth is 4.2 (BR/EDR+BLE). The camera is 16 MP, and GPS supports standalone positioning and A-GPS.
Aluminum inner frame and gloved input
The aluminum alloy inner frame protects against external impact and twisting, and the screen is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass. The keys are made large and widely spaced so they are easy to press even with thick cotton work gloves on. The operating temperature is -20 to 60°C, the size is 76 x 164 x 26.5 mm, and the weight is about 340 g with the battery.
