The DT200 is a Godex 2-inch direct thermal label printer that prints up to 178 mm/s (7 ips) with a 203 dpi head, with a print width of 54 mm. It has 3 ports on the back as standard: USB 2.0, RS-232 (DB-9), and 10/100 Mbps Ethernet.
It is a separate product from the DT200+, whose name ends in +. The 203 dpi head and 7 ips top speed are the same, while memory, maximum print length, and the USB host port differ.

To print a long strip label over 1.7 m as a single label, the DT200+ is the right fit. The 300 dpi sibling model DT230 has a shorter maximum length of 762 mm, with a print width of 57 mm and a top speed of 5 ips.
Errors by number of beeps

2x2 is the same count for media errors and file errors, so tell them apart by whether the printer printed a file error message.
Cutter cleaning interval and thickness limit
The cutter, a dealer-installed option, is cleaned once a month or every 1,000 cuts. Unplug the power cord, open the cutter cover, and wipe the blade surface with a lint-free cloth or cotton swab.
If labels are not cut all the way through, check whether they are thicker than 0.2 mm. When cuts are crooked, first check that the media feeds in straight.
DT200L linerless model
The DT200L, which uses labels without a liner, is slower at a top speed of 6 ips (152 mm/s) at 203 dpi. Print length is 40-160 mm with the cutter and 40-120 mm without it, and alcohol must not be used when cleaning the platen and cutter.
