The PM352 is a 4-inch keypad mobile computer the same size and weight as the PM351 (200 x 70 x 36.5 mm, 320 g) but with Wi-Fi 6E (6 GHz band) and Android 13. If you insert a new battery within 30 seconds of removing the old one, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections and running tasks continue as they were.

30-second enterprise hot swap

Enterprise hot swap, the default mode, keeps the system running on a 60 mAh backup battery while the main battery is out and shows a 30-second countdown on screen. During those 30 seconds, screen brightness drops to about 10%, NFC and the scanner turn off, and volume is lowered. Switching to legacy hot swap in EmSettings makes it wait for a new battery with the screen off.

All SKUs are 4 GB/64 GB. The aiming indicator is green on the SE4100 and red on the SE4750SR, and on both engines the entire barcode must be within the illumination area to read. The top camera is 13 MP (F2.0) with phase-detection autofocus and an LED flash.

6 GHz Wi-Fi and LTE

The wireless LAN is 802.11ax using 6 GHz channels 1-233, with up to 867 Mbps on 6 GHz and 5 GHz and up to 143 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Channel widths up to 160 MHz are supported. LTE is FDD B1/2/3/5/7/8/17/20 and TDD B40/41, with 1 micro SIM.

Conditions for the Android 18 upgrade

It ships with Android 13 and has upgrades planned up to 18, but the versions it can move to change with the processor roadmap and manufacturer policy, and version updates may come with limits or costs. Security patches and updates are provided through Point Mobile PULS for up to 7 years after launch.

The Android 11 model whose 1D engine version has an upper operating temperature limit of 60°C is the PM351.

FAQ

Can I change settings during an enterprise hot swap?

No. During the 30 seconds the backup battery holds the system, do not change settings or do anything that uses more power; only replace the battery.

Is there a tool for managing many units in one place?

Point Mobile PMDM manages device settings and status in one place and predicts battery replacement timing in advance to reduce device downtime. EmKit is a suite of additional tools for system integrators.

Are a battery and stylus included as standard?

Standard contents are an AC/DC adapter, country-specific plugs, a screen protector, a battery, a wrist strap, and a stylus. Single and dual slot cradles, the 4-slot battery charger, the gun handle, and the gun handle wrist strap are purchased separately.
