A small office model with a 255 mm feed opening
The KS-1255 is a paper shredder Daejin Kostal classifies for small offices. It takes 15-17 sheets of A4 75 g paper at once through a 255 mm wide feed opening, cuts them into 2 x 15 mm cross-cut chips, and collects them in a 37 L waste bin.
Automatic recovery of paper detection sensor sensitivity
When the sensitivity of the paper detection sensor at the KS-1255 feed opening drops, the automatic sensor sensitivity adjustment function (Korean patent No. 10-1703884) restores it. This function operates in the 3 cases below.
- When the stop button is held for about 7 seconds
- Every time the power is turned on
- When the motor has run for 5 minutes
While the sensitivity is being readjusted, the sensor recovery lamp, the bottom one of the 3 lamps on the right of the control panel, lights.
